Picture of the Day, Tallinn

The Baltic Coast, Tallinn, Estonia -- May/June, 2011

Tallinn had a nasty winter, but man when summer finally came, it was so gorgeous. Most of Tallinn is very flat, and there are nice, wide sidewalks along the coast. Rasmus and I rented a couple of bikes one afternoon and biked up the coast to a nearby beach. There we laid in the sun and tanned, hopped in the still freezing cold water a bit, and rode back (at which point I ran into a railing while on my bike....embarrassing....). We lounged under this lovely tree for the rest of the day, enjoying the sun, the water, and the cool breeze.
