Welcome to the Month of May! And with it, my month-long Picture of the Day: The Chronicles of Russia edition. (Almost) every day this month, my pictures will take you through our wonderful five-day adventure in Russia last May (better a year late then never, right?). There will be pictures and videos and stories, so stay tuned and enjoy!
And on this wonderful May Day, I am very much reminded of our single May day in Moscow. After the dark and dreary days of Tallinn and unending bus ride through Latvia, we were greeted by spring, glorious spring in the Russian capital. After seeing almost naught but grey for four months, we were bombarded with blue skies green lawns and flowers galore!
