Picture of the Day, Florence

Florence, Italy -- October, 2011

DUOMO! Look at this, celestial scene with glory and wings and clouds and gold. It was very beautiful, especially up close when we climbed up the dome in Florence's Duomo. But also when we got up close and personal with the mural, the outer edge drew a lot more attention, too:

Talk about terrifying :p The whole thing was crazy-detailed.....and *huge*....must have taken forever
