A gondola ride in Venice? A bit cliche, perhaps, but there is a reason everyone does it. Not every day you can mosey down narrow avenues of a city
in a boat. And luck was with us -- our ride was quiet and peaceful; we ran into very few other gondolas during the trip. Also, our 'driver' had heard of Nebraska -- from the name of the Springsteen album :o Talk about perfect [his favorite Springsteen songs were Thunder Road and The River, I believe].
