Fiesole, Italy -- August, 2011

At the end of August, DILL-4 met up for summer school in Settignano, a small village in the hills above Florence. On one of our afternoons off, we decided to take one of the hiking trails through the hills to another (more famous) village, Fiesole, which is known for its Roman ruins and beautiful views of Florence. The hike took two hours, and we grabbed some gelato (ice cream) as a reward. As we walked through town, we came across this street sign art. The curb is stopping to pick a flower! :-)
